Water so clear
As it comes up to my waist
It's so calm here
Soft breeze against my face

All around me is lake

Pictures I may take
This moment I surrender

Clouds up in the air
Form and build around me
Wind blows through my hair
With regret I must leave

Behind me is the lake
As I walk on sandy shores
Shells that I may take
Under the approaching storms

Night begins to fall
Sitting by the window
Taking in it all
Beautiful red sunset glow

Before me is the lake
Above me constellations
The memory I take
Here in my ruminations
