This will probably be too simple for you guys, but here goes anyway.

Add capitalization and punctuation to the following sentence to make it grammatically correct.

ann while bob had had had had had had had had had had had a better effect on the teacher

Because instant gratification isn't fast enough.  That's why.

Am I right? Big grin

Laughing

While it is a good (and creative!) answer, it is not the one I was looking for.

My math teacher (also my track coach) showed me this one day.  Took me an hour to finally figure out after he showed me.  This is actually a very neat little mind puzzle.

If you haven't figured it out yet, don't click on the spoiler.
Spoiler (click to reveal):
Ann, while Bob had had "had", had had "had had."  "Had had" had had a better effect on the teacher.

Ummm....

Every lady in the land
hath 20 nails upon her hands
and 5 & 10 upon her feet
and this is true without deceit

Can you fix it?  I know, not nearly as hard.

And this is true without deceit.

But shouldn't that be 10 upon her hands, and 5 & 5 upon her feet? (I'm also not sure of the usage of "hath" whether it's strictly 2nd person singular or if it can also be 3rd.)

D'oh!  There shouldn't be an and between hands and 5.  My bad.

And I haven't a clue about High Style.  That's how I remember reading it, though.

Oh.

I know how to decline the 2nd singular pronoun. Big grin (Come to think of it that might be something I read about on the SDMB.)

Ea ts, Shoots & Leaves, which is where I got the puzzle says:
Every Lady in this Land
Hath 20 Nails on each Hand;
Five & Twenty on Hands and Feet;
and this is true, without deceit.

Curse my faulty memory!  On the plus side, in searching for said book, I stumbled across my copy of In Other Words, and that makes me feel kefi.
