To me regular Coke tastes like pure sugar. Pepsi has a lighter taste to it. I drink both Diet Coke and Pepsi and can tell the difference. I prefer the taste of Diet Pepsi, but being as I am cheap, I will buy whichever one is on sale.

TPBM drinks at least one glass of orange juice a day.

nope.

TPBM drinks grape juice at least once a day.

Happiness is just one curly fry away.  I'm thinking Arby's™

Nope, but I loves me some white grape juice.

TPBM has picked strawberries at least once.
 #603   Back to top

Yep, and once was enough.

TPBM loves strawberry shortcake.

What kind of ogless heathen philistine doesn't like ice cream. Drooling

TPBM likes fried okra, the Pod of God.

I'm trying to think of a good use for just plain ketchup other than on eggs. I'm drawing a blank here. Now thousand island, barbecue sauce, and steak sauce all (IIRC) have ketchup or tomato paste in them and they are all really good. Go figure. Stick out tongue

TPBM has tried cake dough flavored ice cream.
 #609   Back to top

Cookie dough,  Drooling yes, but I've never heard of cake dough ice cream. Though I'm sure I'd  Drooling over that too.

TPBM envisions margaritas by the pool this weekend. (Or is that just me.  Laughing )

Margaritas and swimming pool? I wish I could be there. Big grin

There's an ice cream place around here that puts the scoop on a cold metal slab and mixes in various ingredients. One of their flavors is cake dough, and it is divine.

TPBM loves to swim.

I envision margaritas, and I envision a pool, but probably not at the same time.

TPBM has never been to Kansas.

Edit - Agh, Umop beat me too it.  Answer to her question is "yes," although I don't get to do it much these days.  My TPBM still stands. . .

As it flew, an idea formed itself in the Procurator's mind, which was now bright and clear. It was this: the hegemon had examined the case of the vagrant philosopher Yeshua, surnamed Ha-Notsri, and could not substantiate the criminal charge made against him. In particular he could not find the slightest connection between Yeshua's actions and the recent disorders in Jerusalem. The vagrant philosopher was mentally ill, as a result of which the sentence of death pronounced on Ha-Notsri by the Lesser Sanhedrin would not be confirmed. But in view of the danger of unrest liable to be caused by Yeshua's mad, utopian preaching, the Procurator would remove the man from Jerusalem and sentence him to imprisonment in Caesarea Stratonova on the Mediterranean — the place of the Procurator's own residence. It only remained to dictate this to the secretary.

I have indeed been to Kansas. Wichita as a matter of fact. In 1996, during the Summer Olympics. I watched the women's gymnastic finals in the bar at an airport Hilton with a bunch of Japanese businessmen. We were cheering on the American team, which won the gold medal. This is but one of the many strange and surreal experiences I have had in the bar of an airport hotel. Strange places.

TPBM has gotten drunk in an airport bar more than one time.

troubleagain - Yes, I went to Utah in 2002, and drove in from Arizona sometime in the 1990s.

swampbear - No, if I am to indulge, it will usually be on the plane itself.

TPBM has missed a flight due to drunkedness in an airport bar.

Any idea what year? I lived in AZ between autumn '96 and spring 2000.

I've never flown, so I'll leave your TPBM stand as is.

Reconstructive memory here, but it seems to me it would have been spring of 1995.
