It's number two. It almost happened but then I remembered where I was. My sis and BIL forced me to go with 'em to The Pub (my hometown hangout back in the day) Saturday night to listen to what turned out to be a good band! BIL proceeded to get me snockered by constantly handin' me beers. Bein' as I'm polite and all, I had to drink 'em. Hee! I went to church Sunday hungover. Felt like I was seventeen again. Stoopid cat hissed and growled at me while I was removin' her fat self from beneath my truck Monday morning. She would not move on her own.

Ok, umop fill our heads with your sweet, sweet lies!

1.) Last night I saw the Pleiades.

2.) I put a bunch of astronomy pictures in the computer where I work and now that's the screensaver.

3.) I work next door to a drive through liquor store.

1.  It was somethin' besides the Pleiades.

It's number three. The liquor store is actually in the same building and you are such a good customer you have your own private entrance.

Or not.

#3 is true, although I haven't actually gone there. Yet.

#2 is true. There are a few APODs and a lot of CGI images I made using my own program.

#1 is the stinking lie. You can't see the Pleiades this time of year because the Sun is too close to them in the sky. Stick out tongue (Unless you live almost right on the arctic circle.) But yesterday afternoon I did see Venus conjunct with the Moon. Cool

Lie to us some more, ta! Thumbs up

Wooo-hooo!

1)  I mowed the lawn this past weekend.
2)  I'm going to Jawja this coming weekend.
3)  It's my 15th wedding anniversary today.

Well, since there's no third guess, I'll announce Umop as the winner of this one.  It really was 5/21, but it was 13 years, not 15.  And I did mow, and I did go to Jawja (and South Care-line-uh).

It's number two. The cats are fine but the iguana is now in therapy.

#1.  You're a 1600x1200 kind of gal.

As it flew, an idea formed itself in the Procurator's mind, which was now bright and clear. It was this: the hegemon had examined the case of the vagrant philosopher Yeshua, surnamed Ha-Notsri, and could not substantiate the criminal charge made against him. In particular he could not find the slightest connection between Yeshua's actions and the recent disorders in Jerusalem. The vagrant philosopher was mentally ill, as a result of which the sentence of death pronounced on Ha-Notsri by the Lesser Sanhedrin would not be confirmed. But in view of the danger of unrest liable to be caused by Yeshua's mad, utopian preaching, the Procurator would remove the man from Jerusalem and sentence him to imprisonment in Caesarea Stratonova on the Mediterranean — the place of the Procurator's own residence. It only remained to dictate this to the secretary.

Number 3.  You had cupcakes instead.

#3. I had a chocolate & peanut butter bar.

1 is true because my monitor blurs the pixels if I set it to anything less (and heh, as much as I'd love to go up to 1600x1200, it just won't display the image). The problem is I don't have enough video memory to keep it at that setting without going down to 15 bit color, and it looks pretty bad. Yuck

2 is true - it was actually a documentary DVD, but both Cleo and Brat Kitten perked up and acted all funny like they do when I play the harmonica. Poor kitties. Stick out tongue

Lie to us again, ta!

Oh, I love an excuse to lie.

1.  I'm wearing my favorite sandals.
2.  I am having sushi tonight.
3.  I go to sleep at night listening to the ocean on my mp3 player.

I'll guess #1. (Not guessing it's the sushi because I'm not the jealous type. Laughing)

(I am, however, the envious type. Drooling)
